Our graduate student Nikolaos Vergos has won two major awards for his exceptional teaching. The first is the William S. Livingston Oustanding Graduate Student Employee Award and the second is the National Sciences Council Outstanding TA/AI Award. Nikos is the first physics student to receive the Livingston award, so we are grateful to him for getting our department into the records. The winner of the NSC award is chosen by students and therefore carries special importance.

These accomplishments add to the department's teaching credential while carrying a strong message about Nikos' skill and dedication to his teaching. He deserves both our congratulations and our thanks.
