"Synergies in plasma physics: from nuclear fusion to astrophysical plasma"

Abstract: MHD simulations can be applied to analyze different plasma regimes, for example studying nuclear fusion, astrophysical, industrial and experimental plasmas. All these possible applications lead to useful synergies. This presentation is dedicated to show multidisciplinary studies of plasma physics including the optimization of the plasma heating in nuclear fusion devices, the interaction of the solar wind with planetary magnetospheres, the generation of magnetic fields by convective dynamos in the interior of the stars and liquid metal flows for industrial applications, among other topics.
