"Quantum Hall Ferromagnetism in Graphite"

Abstract: Graphite - the parent material of graphene - is known to exhibit multiple phase transitions in a strong magnetic field, which are not fully understood. Now that we know more about the behaviour of electrons in 2D materials under strong magnetic fields, we revisit the field induced phase transitions of graphite. We consider graphite as weakly coupled 2D systems, and discuss its interaction induced ordered states in the strong field regime.
