"Exploring quantum matter in the era of quantum computers"

Abstract: The rise of quantum computing is poised to revolutionize the scientific and technological landscape, unlocking new possibilities for computational problem-solving and physical simulations beyond the reach of classical computers. In this thesis, I approach the following question: how to best use existing quantum hardwares to explore various types of quantum matter, and how to use theoretical tools to guide the designs of future quantum computers?
