"Elusive neutrinos"

Coffee and cookies will be served at 3:45pm in RLM 4.102

Abstract: The 1998 discovery of neutrino oscillations demonstrated that neutrinos have mass, in turn implying new phenomena and new roles of neutrinos in cosmology and beyond the Standard Model of elementary particles. Measurements of neutrino mixings have now been conducted by several experiments, but neutrino
properties continue to be elusive. We will discuss our recent experimental effort and challenges in further studies of neutrino mixing, a search for sterile neutrinos, and a quest to discover if neutrinos are Majorana fermions.

Location: John A. Wheeler Lecture Hall (RLM 4.102)
