"Extra Dimensions of Theoretical Physics"

Abstract: Many theories of very-high-energy physics beyond the Standard Model involve extra dimensions besides the familiar four dimensions of space and time.  In this colloquium I introduce three main types of hidden extra dimensions -- Kaluza-Klein, brane worlds, and holographic -- and explain how they stay hidden from the present-day experiments.
