"Cell motility in growing tissues"
Abstract: The strict control of cell division and apoptosis (death) is critical for tissue development and maintenance. Imbalance between cell division and death is a property of a growing tissue. In this talk, I will elucidate how cell motility (motion of cells) in a growing tissue differs from a tissue at steady state (cell division balances cell death).
