"Measuring the Standard Model with Charmonia"

Abstract: We discuss two ongoing LHC-based analyses that probe the Standard Model with methods that involve charmed mesons using the 13 TeV ATLAS dataset. In addition, we present recent results from ATLAS detector upgrade prototyping and data-quality monitoring software development. Finally, we propose a future search for a heavy higgs boson in Two-Higgs-Doublet Models using flavor-changing neutral currents.
