"An Ultra-bright Source of Cold Lithium Atoms"

Abstract: I'll present the current research in Raizen Lab on generating an ultra-bright source of cold lithium atoms, as our fisrt step to achieve world's largest BEC and more interesting aspect of physics. The presentation will cover the background of cold atoms physics and its limitation, the new experiment approach in our lab to overcome this limitation, and future plan for the project.
