Wednesday, September 21, 2016, 07:30pm - 08:30pm

Gravitational Waves, Colliding Black Holes, and Tornadoes in Space-Time:
The Dawn of a New Astronomy

with Dr. David Reitze, Executive Director, The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO)

100 years after Einstein proposed his theory of relativity, beautiful proof of it arrived from billions of light years away. Dr. Reitze broke the news of detecting colliding black holes and his firsthand account will showcase what the biggest physics breakthrough in decades means for the future of science.

Additional details about the event, parking, etc. will be posted here soon.
