"Supersymmetric flows and holographic line defects"

Abstract: From the M-theory perspective, (2,0) SCFTs characterized by the Lie algebra A(N-1) have gravity duals in the large N limit. Thus holography helps us map the elements of field theories into intuitive geometrical constructions of gravity theory. My study is based on the holographic duals of the line defects, occurring in the 4d class S theories, in terms of on-shell supersymmetric embedding in the 11d supergravity geometry.

I will present the flow equation corresponding to the M2 brane 1-cycle on the Riemann surface parametrized by the radial coordinate on the AdS space and explain its properties.
