"Properties of a model 3D topological insulator -- thick films of strained HgTe quantum well"

Abstract: Introduce the properties of the surface states of thick films of strained HgTe quantum well, a 3D topological insulator candidate. Summarize experimental measurements and results from mainly two groups, which are experts in growing HgTe quantum well samples. And show my calculated results based on the 'k-dot-p' perturbation theory.
